The Ga-Mogale community recently came together and started to repair the R24 road which is in much need of attention.

After numerous complaints and delays, the community of Magaliesburg is coming together at Ga-Mogale to restore some pride in their neighborhood.

The Easter holidays always bring joy to many residents of Krugersdorp and this story is no different. On April 5, Vusi Sithole and the community took it upon themselves to fix potholes in the community and the road affected the most, the R24 between the entrance of a hotel and spa and the T-junction near a family resort, received much-needed attention.

The community came together after they realised the damage on the road. Lives were also lost due to the accidents that occurred on this road.

Community members not only came out to sacrifice their time to assist Vusi but they were also kind enough to donate money and equipment that would cover food, drinks, tools, and transport.

Ryan Marsden was among the many community members who provided them with tools and other equipment to use for fixing the roads.

Victor Molefe, local councillor of Ward 31 of Ga-Mogale also took time out of the office to assist the community in the project.

Vusi is proud of the progress made and appreciates community members who played their part in the project
