Ulundi Municipality works to rehabilitate infrastructure damaged by recent disasters
Ulundi Municipality has embarked on an official road re-gravelling project in KwaBhobhobho, in the eDlebe area.
This project forms part of the Municipal Disaster Recovery Grant as previously announced by Mayor Wilson Ntshangase.
The grant is aimed at rehabilitating infrastructure damaged by recent disasters, with a strong focus on improving road networks across affected wards.
Ntshangase explained that the re-gravelling of the KwaBhobhobho road falls under the broader Reconstruction of Dlebe Gravel Access Roads project, which marks a significant milestone in restoring critical infrastructure, improving accessibility, and ensuring safer transportation for residents of Ward 6.
“We urge community members to support and cooperate with the appointed contractor to ensure the smooth and timely completion of the project. “We remain committed to responsive governance and improving the quality of life for all residents through sustainable infrastructure development,” said the mayor.
