New date given for new Doonside shopping centre

The construction of the mall was announced back in 2021 and it's going to be in Doonside between Seadoone and Umfuleni roads.



CONSTRUCTION is yet to start at a site in Doonside between Seadoone and Umfuleni roads where a property developing company, AJ Property Holdings, announced back in 2021 that it is going to build a shopping centre.



At the time, the company’s director, Shaun Welgemoed, said they were in the process of addressing the relevant statutory approval requirements regarding the development and were engaging prospective tenants.



Responding to a reply about the progress, or lack thereof, AJ Property Holdings’ Laura Radford said
the shopping centre, to be named Kingsburgh Junction, will now open in October 2024.



A post on the company’s Facebook page regarding the development made in September 2022 said there had been growing anticipation surrounding the proposed development of Kingsburgh Junction.
