Jeffares & Green Acquires Shares In Makhetha Development Consultants

jeffares & green (j&g), the long established multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm, has acquired a 25 percent share in makhetha development consultants, a 100% pdi-owned and managed civil engineering company which specialises in sanitation projects.

husband and wife, seetella and martha makhetha, who are owners of makhetha development consultants, have also acquired shares and been appointed directors of j&g.

“j&g has worked with the makhetha’s over a period of many years and has long wished for a closer association with them,” said j&g managing director, chris robinson.

“while there is an overlap of the expertise available within the two companies, we have different focuses and the services that we offer complement rather than compete with each other” he said.

makhetha development consultants has recently relocated its office from pietermaritzburg to port elizabeth and intends expanding its operation to other major centres in the near future.
