Growthpoint’s Bayside Mall, located in the heart of Table View and Parklands areas in Cape Town, has announced its plans to undergo a R352m redevelopment project set to commence this month.

It aims to introduce new retail offerings, a revamped food court, improved flow, and access to the centre, as well as a refreshed, contemporary look.

The redevelopment will address several key areas including the introduction of more on-grade parking, the addition of access and egress points, and the provision of dedicated parking for taxis while repositioning its main anchor tenant, Checkers, and the introduction of Shoprite to its tenant mix.

The project will be rolled out in phases over approximately eighteen months and the mall will remain open for trade throughout the period.
