Golden Acre redevelopment kicks off, announces Neighbourgood partnership

The redevelopment of the Golden Acre Precinct in Cape Town CBD has begun with the commercial office tower being converted into residential apartments with upgraded retail and a safer, better-connected pedestrian environment.



The first phase of construction will focus on the new residential tower to introduce modern apartments designed specifically for working professionals with Neighbourgood formally announced as the operating partner for the residential component.



According to the developers, the tower will directly respond to Cape Town’s critical ‘missing middle’ housing gap by offering city-based living at price points accessible to the working population who currently face long, costly daily commutes.



Golden Acre’s redevelopment is being undertaken in close alignment with the City of Cape Town and Mission for the Inner City.
