Erbacon Construction acquires PSC Civil Contractors

erbacon construction (pty) ltd, a 100% subsidiary of erbacon investment holdings, a jse (alt-x) listed company, has just acquired the staff, plant & assets of psc civil contractors (pty) ltd. the new company will be known as
erbacon roads & earthworks (pty) ltd and will specialise in road works, earth works and general township infrastructure. the company is a cidb 8ce and is a level 4 bbbee contributor.

brendan falkson will head up erbacon roads & earthworks and the operational manager will be eric van de vijver. the company operates countrywide with its head office in centurion, pretoria. the acquisition was specifically aimed at enhancing the group’s footprint in roads & earthworks. it also broadens the erbacon group offering to include the full spectrum of civil and building construction under four separate subsidiaries namely erbacon construction, erbacon roads & earthworks, civcon and armstrong construction.

the recent merger with civcon, and the above acquisition, together
with the attainment of an elevated bee status, affords erbacon an increased level of diversification and geographic spread with which to confront the well documented, and immense, infrastructural backlog currently prevalent in south africa and neighbouring territories.
