Kokerboom 3 Wind Energy Facility

Construction of the Kokerboom 3 wind energy facility and associated infrastructure located on the Remaining extent of the Farm Aan de Karree Doorn Pan, Farm No. 213, and Portions 1 and 2 of the Farm Karree Doorn Pan, Farm No. 214, situated near Loeriesfontein in the Northern Cape. The WEF would have a maximum generation capacity of up to 240 MW. The proposed Kokerboom 3 WEF is located approximately 50km North of Loeriesfontein, 85km West of Brandvlei and 160km South East of Springbok in the Northern Cape. The site can be accessed from the unsurfaced Nuwepos road running North-South from Loeriesfontein. The GPS co-ordinates are 30°21'52.7"S 19°31'18.2"E.
