The facility will be established over an area of less than 20ha on a site located approximately 26km north of Noupoort, in the Northern Cape, on portion 3 of Farm Rietfontein 140. The facility will have a maximum generating capacity of up to 20 MW. The GPS co-ordinates are 30°57'13.9"S 25°03'59.1"E.
