About this development
Construction of the ABO Eland solar energy facility 8 and associated infrastructure, located the Remainder of Portion 4, Portion 8, 9 and the Remainder of the Farm Wild Fontein No. 144, situated between 12km north and 22km north of the centre of Noupoort in the Umsobomvu Local Municipality and the Pixley ka Seme District Municipality, Northern Cape. The solar energy facility will include the following infrastructure: Solar field/ solar arrays and associated infrastructure, battery energy storage system (BESS). Primary/main access road/s as well as internal road reticulation within the proposed development footprint. Associated infrastructure (to be located within the proposed development footprint). Perimeter fencing. Temporary laydown area/s. The GPS marker has been placed on Portion 8 of the Farm Wild Fontein No. 144, 31°01'00.1"S 24°55'21.9"E.
