Construction of the ABO Eland solar energy facility 9 and associated infrastructure, on Portion 5 (Hartebeestfontein Quarry) of the Farm Hartebeestfontein No. 145, Portion 7 of the Farm Hartebeestfontein No. 145, The Remainder of Portion 1 (Wolvefontein) of the Farm Hartebeestfontein No. 145, Remainder of the Farm Hartebeestfontein No. 145 Remainder of Portion 4 of the Farm Wild Fontein No. 144, Portion 8 and 9 of the Farm Wild Fontein No. 144, Remainder of the Farm Wild Fontein No. 144, situated between 12km north and 22km north of the centre of Noupoort in the Umsobomvu Local Municipality and the Pixley ka Seme District Municipality, Northern Cape. The solar energy facility will include the following infrastructure: Solar field/ solar arrays and associated infrastructure, battery energy storage system (BESS), primary/main access road/s as well as internal road reticulation within the proposed development footprint,l associated infrastructure (to be located within the proposed development footprint), perimeter fencing and temporary laydown area/s. The GPS marker has been placed on Portion 5 (Hartebeestfontein Quarry) of the Farm Hartebeestfontein No. 145 30°59'35.6"S 24°58'56.8"E.
