About this development
Construction of the ABO Eland solar energy facility 6 and associated infrastructure, located on Remainder of Portion 1 of the Farm Carolus Poort No. 166 and the Remaining Extent of the Farm Carolus Poort No. 166, situated between 12km north and 22km north of the centre of Noupoort in the Umsobomvu Local Municipality and the Pixley ka Seme District Municipality, Northern Cape. The solar energy facility will include the following infrastructure: Solar field/ solar arrays and associated infrastructure, battery energy storage system (BESS), primary/main access road/s as well as internal road reticulation within the proposed development footprint, associated infrastructure (to be located within the proposed development footprint), perimeter fencing and temporary laydown area/s. The GPS marker has been placed on Remainder of Portion 1 of the Farm Carolus Poort No. 166, 31°04'02.2"S 24°54'43.1"E.
