Tender Details This International Invitation for Pre-Qualification relates to the contracts for the Gerus – Zambezi 350kV DC Transmission Line (length ± 970 km). This line will be contracted to a contractor(s) who will be responsible for the construction of the line. It should also be noted that NamPower will supply and issue OPGW and insulators as “free issue” materials. The line construction may be subdivided amongst several contractors. These contracts are expected to be awarded during 2007 and constructed/implemented from 2007 with completion in early 2009.
