Tender Details The African Union Commission (AUC), NEPAD Secretariat and the African Development Bank (ADB) are jointly commissioning a Study on 'Programme for Infrastructure Development in Africa' (PIDA). ADB hereby invites eligible voluntarily formed Consortia/Joint Ventures of sector specialized consulting firms that have the requisite experience and capacity for the delivery of sector outputs as indicated in the Pre-Qualification Document, to Express their Interest in providing the above services. Scope of the PIDA Study: The Study is a wide initiative which encompasses the 4 infrastructure sectors of Transport, Energy, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and Transboundary Water. The Study will only cover the regional end continental dimensions of these sectors and national dimensions of whatever character (including but not exclusively, physical infrastructures. national policies, institutional and regulatory frameworks, technical norms and standards) will be considered only in so far as they have an impact on, or may be affected by the regional and continental dimensions. The outputs of the study will include the Strategic Objectives and Sector Policies in each of the infrastructure sectors indicated above and the prioritized programmes over the short, medium and long Term that will support Africa's development vision and its integration into the global economy. Scope of the Consultancy services under the Study and the forms to be completed are given in the Pre-Qualification Document for PIDA Study.
