Tender Details Tenders are hereby invited for the Provision of a 33,600 hours service on two EMD Engines on a Floating Production Storage and Offloading Platform for PetroSA. Scope: The FPSO Orca has four EMD engines to provide power for the production facilities and utilities through the AC and DC generators. EMD # 1 and 2 are 12 cylinder engines (EMD 12-645-E1, 1650 hp). EMD # 3 is a 16 cylinder engine (EMD 16-567-C converted to a 16-645-E1). The EMDs are maintained on a running hour basis. Services are done by the offshore personnel on the 700, 1400, 2800, 4200, 8400 and 16800 hour intervals using spares maintained in stock. For the 33 600 hours service, it is required that a contractor board the Orca and perform the service. The contractor must also supply the parts required for the service, as defined in the list below. EMD #2 – 33,600hr service due on 15 May 2010. EMD #3 – 33,600hr service due on 4 July 2010. Contractor to supply Materials: 12 x Premium power packs, laser hardened liners (16 for EMD #3). 12 x Cylinder head gaskets (16 for EMD #3). 24 x Liner seals (32 for EMD #3) for roots blower type engine. 12 x Lower liner insert (16 for EMD #3). 24 x Water outlet elbow seals (32 for EMD #3). 12 x Elbow to head seals (16 for EMD #3). Crankshaft bearings set - to be changed. Conrod bearings set - to be changed. Main bearings set - to be changed. Thrust bearing set - to be changed. Fuel pump spider coupling - to be changed. Fuel pump kit for overhaul. 12 x Fuel injectors (16 for EMD #3). 48 x Lash adjusters (64 for EMD #3). 24 x Lash adjuster seats (32 for EMD#3). 24 x Lash adjuster spring clips (32 for EMD#3). 2 x Water pump gasket and seal kits. 6 x Exhaust manifold gaskets (8 for EMD #3). 2 x Exhaust flange gaskets. 24 x Hand hole cover seals (32 for EMD#3).
