Tender Details Tenderers are invited to indicate interest in the Request For Information: Supply and Maintenance of IT Equipment. The IT Department of the Bank manages a fleet of IT equipment for approximately 1,700 users. It is expected that the number of users will increase to 2,100 by the year 2012. The fleet of IT equipment is deployed in 25 offices throughout Africa, with the majority currently in Tunisia due to the temporary relocation of the Bank in Tunisia, and comprises of desktops, laptops, printers and scanners. The Bank policy is to replace the equipment after four years of purchase. The Bank therefore requires a warranty which covers replacements of parts and labor during the life cycle of the equipment. The Bank is seeking for information on the solutions currently available on the market for supply of IT equipment, related accessories and after sales services. Interested suppliers are required to describe their proposed solution as indicate whether they are resellers, distributors or manufacturers, and details of how they intend to provide after sales support to the various Bank locations. Information gathered through this RFI will be used to determine the Bank's procurement strategy for this particular requirement.
