Tender Details Project: Programme for Infrastructure Development in Africa - General Procurement Notice. The African Union Commission (AUC), NEPAD Secretariat and the African Development Bank (AfDB) are jointly preparing a project - “Programme for Infrastructure Development in Africa”. The project objectives are to enable African decision makers at regional and continental level: Establish a strategic framework for the development of regional and continental infrastructure (energy, transport, telecommunications and Information And Communication Technologies - ICT, water) based on a development vision, strategic objectives and sector policies; Establish an infrastructure development programme articulated around priorities and phases; Prepare an implementation strategy and process, including in particular a plan of priority actions. The project results are also expected to clearly articulate strategies for promoting, attracting and sustaining private sector participation in infrastructure development. The project components will include: Four separate sector studies (transport, energy, telecommunications/ICT and transboundary water resources); The design of a database to support the implementation and monitoring process; Audit.
