Tender Details Competitiveness and Enterprise Development Project invites eligible individual consultant to indicate their interest in providing the services. The purpose of the study is to formulate tea green leaf price structure and its calculation. Specific duties: Study and evaluation of the tea green leaf production chain from plantation to factory and costs of production; Study and evaluation of factory transformation requirement and costs; Study and evaluation of made tea marketing and sales expenditures; Evaluation of tea export and market prices; Study and evaluation of possible profit margins at each stage in the chain; Study and evaluation of tea green leaf production volumes, transformation ratios to made tea and quality; From above, formulation and recommendation of a tea green leaf price calculation method; Using the approved method, determine the green leaf price structure and price at the period. Anticipated results: Determination of cost of production of tea green leaves and made tea; Definition of methods of reducing costs of production of high yielding and quality tea; Definition of appropriate method of fixing green leaf price; Implementation of periodic and systemic tea green leaf price monitoring and review. Methodology: The consultant shall determine suitable methodology to obtain the above results; The consultant shall work closely with OCIR-THE; The consultant shall visit tea plantations, cooperatives of tea planters and tea factories.
