About this development
Development of Wind Power Plants at the Cookhouse Wind Energy Facility, in the Eastern Cape. This contract is for Turbine Equipment Supplier and/or EPC contractor in connection with a 300+ MW Wind Energy Facility (turbine size 1.5 – 3MW). This contract will include: A turn-key "Engineer, Procure and Construct" (EPC) type arrangement where all civil, electrical and construction works are subcontracted by the wind turbine supplier; or A wind turbine and tower "Supply, Deliver, Install, Warranty, Operations and Maintenance" agreement. In this case a separate Balance of Plant (BOP) contact will be signed by ACED with a local construction company.
