About this development

Upgrades and additions to the existing Alice Water Treatment Works situated within Alice in Eastern Cape. The scope of works includes the following: raw water inlet and flocculent dosing and mixing systems; sedimentation basins and autonomous gravity sand filters; chlorine dosing systems and sludge ponds and effluent recovery; clear water pump station; new concrete reservoir and remedial works to existing concrete reservoir; upgrade of all electrical components and systems; compilation of O&M documentation and training as well as provision of testing and laboratory equipment. The exact site co-ordinates are being sourced. The GPS marker however has been placed in the town of Alice 32°47'24.5"S 26°49'58.6"E.
