About this development
Upgrading gravel road to surfaced standard road, DR08012 phase 1 (10km). The existing gravel road, which is approximately 10 kilometres long, is to be upgraded to a bituminous surfaced road with the bituminous surfaced width of 8.2km. There are two major structures on the project. The road pavement includes a crushed stone base from a commercial source, stabilised sub-base and two selected layers and is located between Maluti and Qachas Nel, Eastern Cape Province.
