About this development
Construction of Adult Basic Training Centre and Primary School for the proposed Tankatara Residential and Eco-residential estate situated near the town of Colchester in the Eastern Cape. The development will spread across the property totally approximately 4 500ha. The scope of works includes: 305 free standing units (nodes A-G), 340 erven (nodes H & I), 36 chalets (3 x 12), 3 lodges (2 x 50 bed; 1 x 20 bed) (node J-L), a 3-star hotel, commercial / retail centre and an Adult Basic Training (ABET) centre and Primary school. The development will rely largely on Eskom for power however solar energy will be utilised for remote units. Institutional Component.
