About this development
Construction of a new hospital in Nessie Knight near the town of Qumbu, within the Mhlontho Municipality. The new hospital will replace the existing hospital in Nessie Knight which is currently in a state of disrepair. The proposed site for the hospital will be a 4.5ha developed or 'brownfields' site which currently supports the existing hospital. The project also involves the extension of the WWTW's outlet pipe (250m) to the Sulenkama River for the discharge of treated effluent. The proposed project sire is located approximately 25km north-west of Qumbu, along the DR08022, Eastern Cape province. CIDB 9: R130 Million Plus.
