About this development
Upgrading and expanding the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University campuses in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. These will include construction of new premises on the Missionvale campus in Port Elizabeth that will house a new Mathematics and Science Centre of Excellence; upgrading the library on the Second Avenue campus in Port Elizabeth; building lecture halls on the South and Second Avenue campuses; and at North campus, on lecture halls and theatres and developing a common entrance for both North and South campuses to bring them together as a single unit. Project value: Between R80 and R90 million.
