Construction of a new 45 931 seater stadium in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality is one of the candidate venues for the hosting of the FIFA Soccer World Cup of 2010. In terms of the Bid Book submitted by South Africa to FIFA, the planned stadium within the NMBM should have a capacity of approximately 50 000 seats. Project Value: R1.5 billion.
