Kouga Wind Farm

Construction of a wind power farm in the Kouga Local Municipality, near Oyster Bay in the Eastern Cape. The capacity of the first phase of the proposed three clusters is 100 MW, which will cost R2 billion. The project is in the Kouga area, south of the N2 and its three clusters stretch from St Francis Bay through to the Tsitsikamma River. Upon completion the wind farm would have about 300MW of installed capacity and up to 121 wind turbines.
