Gunstfontein - Wind & Solar

Construction of the Gunstfontein Renewable Energy Facility of a combined wind and solar farm on a site near Sutherland in the Northern Cape. The wind energy facility could have up to 100 turbines with a generating capacity of up to 3.5MW each over a development foot print of 12 000ha. The Solar PV facility with a generating capacity of up to 150MW with a development footprint of 300ha. The central co-ordinates of the site are 32°38'02"S 20°38'30"E
