About this development
Upgrading of the Cecilia Makiwane Hospital (CMH) in Mdantsane, Eastern Cape into a 350 bed hospital, which will have a nursing college, a 150 bed step-down facility and a 100 bed psychiatric unit and the construction of a 46 500m² double-storey main hospital building. The new facility will also be equipped with state-of-the art equipment. The construction will be done in seven phases. Estimated value of project is R800 million.
