Trade and Investment Limpopo is the official Investment and Trade Promotion Agency for Limpopo, located in Polokwane, South Africa. We are the first point of contract for foreign importers, local exporters and investors wishing to take advantage of the unlimited business opportunities in Polokwane and Limpopo. Trade and Investment Limpopo was established by the Limpopo Department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism with a mandate to promote and facilitate trade and investment in Limpopo. Trade and investment Limpopo works closely with key players including the South African Government, Business, Labour, the Municipality of Polokwane, District Municipalities and rural local authorities. Business Process Outsourcing and Off-shoring (BPO&O) has been identified through the AsgiSA initiative as one of the best business opportunities in South Africa that could attract foreign investments and create jobs. The vision is that South Africa will become a prominent Tier II player by 2014. To realize this vision, the Department of Trade and Industry introduced an incentive programme to attract investment into the sector. The incentive program is part of a holistic value proposition to position SA as a leading BPO/O destination. The incentive programme also looks at the sector skills and a dedicated investor centric philosophy as well as a programme to improve industry service standards. The Limpopo Provincial Growth and Development Strategy emphasizes on a better life for all. The access of government and related services by the communities remain a key priority BPO/O can therefore be a pivotal point of growth and development of the services sector. In terms of the sectoral contributions to the Limpopo GGP, services sector from a bigger percentage of the GGP. Since BPO/O is a service driven industry, this provides for a golden opportunity for bringing government service to the people. The Limpopo Provincial Government through Trade and Investment Limpopo (TIL) invites investors interested in participating in the development of a provincial feasibility study and a business plan for BPO/O for Limpopo Province. The goal of the BPO/O project is to request suitably qualified service providers to assist the Province with technical and professional expertise in developing the following: Value Proposition; Talent Development Plan; and Marketing Strategy. Scope of Work: To determine the requirements and resources for the development and *continue in restrictions.
