The eThekwini Municipality requests quotations for the cleaning of People Mover bus stops. The service moves along three defined routes: the northern route, which runs from West Street to the Suncoast; the Southern Route, which runs from West Street to Ushaka; and an inner city route, which does a circular route along Smith, Russell and Commercial streets. Along the routes eighteen stops have been earmarked as well as a transfer/interchange facility at the end of West Street. These have been strategically located to pick up on major tourist installations, residential or business concentrations. The aim of the Cleaning Service will be to ensure that each bus stop is cleaned regularly to a high standard. The quotation should cover the twice weekly cleaning of each of the stops along the people mover route. The contract for this work will be undertaken for a 12 month period, subject to a monthly and annual review by the eThekwini Municipality.
