Tender Details The Competitiveness and Enterprise Development Project invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing for recruitment of a Consultant to estimate the impact of the privatization process in Rwanda. The objectives of the study are: a. Operational aspect: Analyze the activities of privatization led on December 31st, 2005 by taking into account, without being restrictive, following elements: Method and transparency of the privatization; Implication of the various institutional and economic partners; Pre privatization evaluations and protection of the patrimony; The procedures used to make the sales of the public companies; Contracts; The monitoring of the privatized companies. b. Analysis of the impact: Analyze the social and economic impact of the privatization: This analysis should take into consideration the socio economic status which has prevailed during the last decade as well as the implications which they have accounted in the enterprises such as the stopping of activities, needs of rehabilitation, etc.
