Tenders are hereby invited for the supply of all labour, materials and equipment for the construction of civil works associated with boreholes, spring protections, rising mains, bulk gravity mains and reservoirs of the Matatiele district in the Eastern Cape. The sites are located within 30km of Mount Frere. The villages are upper Mvenyana eMagxeni Nkawulweni, Mabheleni, Rhasheni and Slepereti. The works consists of the construction of four reinforced concrete ground reservoirs ranging from 25kl to 500kl, installation of three borehole pump stations and associated pumping equipment, spring protection, rising mains and bulk gravity mains consisting of a total length of approximately 42km of PVC, HDPE and Lula steel pipelines of diameters ranging from 50mm to 160mm, 6 standpipes, control valves, gate valves, air valves, scour valves, bulk meters and appurtenant fittings. Tenderers should have a minimum CIDB contractor grading designation of 5CE or higher. Tenderers must be registered with CIDB in a CE class of construction works.
