Telkom Requests Proposals for a Web Content Management Tool. Telkom SA is looking for the Web Content Management tool for Enterprise Portal. The Telkom Web Portal strategy is to present telkom.co.za as the single point of entry through the web to external customers, suppliers, partners and employees, enhancing the customer’s online experience and to evolve telkom.co.za into a worldclass web experience. The Web Content Management System will enable Business users or web content owners (e.g. Marketing, Corporate Communications, Human Resources, etc.) to update and publish their own contents on telkom.co.za website through a user friendly MS Word-like type application, thereby minimizing reliance on IT professionals. The following critical criteria will be used to evaluate: Must have a local support; Must comply with Oracle Portal partner application specification and Oracle Single sign-on; and Users with no XML, HTML or other related technologies must be able to use the software.
