Kgatleng District Council invites tenders for the construction of the following water supply works from contractors who are registered with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board (PPADB) in Code 03, Sub-Code 23, and/or Code 10, Sub-Code 01, Grade E. The works consist of rehabilitation of water supplies to the six villages of Mabalane, Sikwane, Mmathubudukwane, Ramonaka, Malolwane and Dikwididi in the Kgatleng District. The main components of the works are: Construction of a 16.2km pipeline, 160mm class 9 UPVC from connection point on the 600mm Molatedi/Gaborone pipeline to the treatment plant; Construction of 44.5km pipelines of various diameters to the respective villages; Connection to existing 600mm dia pipe, installation of a mechanical meter, gate valves, air valves and washouts; Design, supply, construct/install test and commission of a package water treatment plant capacity 1150m3 / day; Supply, construct a pump station complete with clear water pumps, blowers and backwash pumps; Design and construct a chemical dosing unit complete with dosing pumps and a mini laboratory; Construct booster pump stations, supply and install pumps complete with accessories and fittings at Malolwane and Sikwane; Construction of GRP clear water tank, capacity 1150m3 at the treatment plant; Design, supply, erect and commission GRP tanks of the following capacities: 275m3, 100m3, 2 x 30m3 and 150m3; Design, supply, installation and commissioning of a telemetry and SCADA system; Design and construction of an 18km access road; Bulk power supply to the treatment plant and the two booster stations.
