EDI Holdings requires the following services: To install a cost effective video conferencing system for EDI Holdings. The following requirements needs to be addressed and incorporated in the specification: It is proposed that a boardroom-type video conferencing system be placed at the Head Office in Pretoria to link with 3 other main centres namely Cape Town, East London and Durban. The boardroom in Pretoria to be equipped with software that will allow it to connect to all sites together at the some time (a multi-call point), while the systems in each of the regions be capable to call back to Pretoria or to any other region in a point to point call. The video conference system must ensure conference sessions in resolution of DVD. Quality should be of full high definition and also include audio up to new CD quality in stereo. The system unit be able and capable to send and receive computer presentations and allow both presentation and person presenting the transmission to be on screen. The proposed network for these systems including bandwidth, requirement and installation programme and costs are to be presented to enable EDI Holdings to decide on which system and service providers to be appointed to do the installation.
