As the Raising of La Gogue Dam will affect water supply situation on Mahé, PUC decided to increase the production capacity of the Providence desalination network. Therefore, PUC is calling out for suitable and eligible Contractors to tender for the pipeline works at Petit Paris and Providence.
PUC currently has a pipeline that runs from Perseverance via the lagoon, which brings water to the 1000m3 water tank at Quincy. In order to have more flexibility, PUC plans to lay another pipeline along the lagoon as an alternative.
