Wessels Mine Railway Upgrades

Construction of civil works and major earthworks for the existing railway infrastructure at the Wessels and Mamatwan Mines in the Hotazel Area, Northern Cape. The project entails the extension of the existing railway into a new railway balloon measuring 2 500m in length and 25m in width. The extension of the railway onto a section of the existing tailings dam, resulting in the removal of approximately 15 000m³ - 25 000m³ of material from the tailings area, which would be deposited on another existing tailings dam; and upgrading of the existing railway line from the Wessels Mine to the tie-in point near Assmang (Pty) Ltd’s (Assmang) railway line. The project covers an area of approximately 10 hectares. The GPS coordinates are 27°07'03.2"S 22°51'18.4"E
