About this development
VentuSA Energy (Pty) Ltd is proposing the establishment of a commercial solar electricity generating facility and associated infrastructure on Portions 0 and 5 of the Farm Wag'nbiekiespan 1586 which falls within the Tokologo Local Municipality in the Lejweleputswa District Municipality of the Free State. The site is located 50 km south-west of Boshof and 32 km north-east of Kimberley. The facility is proposed to make use of concentrating Photovoltaic (CPV) technology with a total generating capacity of 75MW, and would be known as the Wag'nbiekiespan Solar Energy Facility.
