About this development
Construction of a solar photovoltaic (PV) electricity generating facility close to the Venetia diamond mine located approximately 80 km west of Musina and 36 km north-east of Alldays, in Limpopo. The capacity of the proposed solar farm will be approximately 100 MW and will transmit power from the solar farm to the sub-station at Venetia Mine. The size of the site is approximately 897 ha and the footprint of the solar panels will be approximately 250 ha.
