About this development
Construction of a new calcine waste disposal facility (WDF) at the Vanchem plant, a division of Highveld Steel and Vanadium Corporation Limited. The plant is in the Ferrobank area near Emalahleni (Witbank), Mpumalanga. The current calcine WDF will reach its full capacity by the end 2009, beginning 2010 and an alternative site must therefore be developed.
