About this development
Construction of Phase 2A of the Upilanga Solar and Green Hydrogen Park, known as "Upilanga Valley", on Portion 2 of the Farm Matjesrivier 41, Karoshoek, near Upington, Northern Cape. Phase 2A (ICPH 3) consists of an 800MV PV and a 200MW CSP that will supply a 100MW electrolyser facility (Electrolyser 2A). This will become a 400MW Net Baseload Integrated CSP and PV Hybrid (ICPH) consisting of the 800MV PV + 200MW CSP. ICPH3 will supply Electrolyser 2A, with the balance of the ICPH 3 electricity being wheeled for offtake by Eskom NTCSA third parties. The GPS co-ordinates are 28°30'02.7"S 21°28'23.6"E
