About this development
Development of the Touws River CPV solar power project, in the Western Cape. The project entails the development of a 44 MWp utility-scale CPV solar power plant in Touws River. The plant will be built adjacent to the existing 60 kW CPV plant, located at the Aquila private game reserve, in Touws River. It will be the largest CPV plant in the western world. Soitec has concluded a R1-billion bond issuance to finance the construction of the CPV solar plant in Touws River.
