Construction of the 175MW Grootfontein 3 photovoltaic facility situated within the Witzenberg Local Municipality near Touws River, Western Cape. The proposed project includes a solar field of 250ha and up to 10 m high, operation and maintenance buildings, power lines and substations (i.e. electricity grid infrastructure (EGI)), access roads, battery energy storage systems (BESS), fencing, and other associated and supporting infrastructure. Bid window 6. The GPS marker has been placed within the center of the development 32°57'25.3"S 19°56'30.3"E.
