The Tijirit property is located in north western Mauritania, 260km north north-east of the capital Nouakchott and 200km east south-east (direct) of the major city of Nouâdhibou, located on the Atlantic coast. The property is composed of two distinct adjacent permits, 447B2 and,1117B2, covering 1 460km and lies within the administrative district of the Inchiri and Dakhlet Nouâdhibou Districts. The Tijirit property is accessed from Nouakchott on a paved highway for 150km to the north and via a dirt track for 130km to the northeast adjacent to the Akchâr dune bar. Nouâdhibou is closer, 200km direct, but much farther by road. The property is accessible year-round by 4x4. The exact co-ordinates are currently not available however the approximate area of location is lat: 21.1544363; long: -13.8928401.
