About this development
Development of a central lodge facility and a state-of-the-art conference centre for the Somkhanda Game Reserve west of Mkuze, KwaZulu-Natal. There is an existing reserve of 12 500 hectares with the potential to grow to 19 000 hectares. The reserve is owned by the Gumbi Community. Somkhanda will house a central lodge facility and a state-of-the-art conference centre. A residential estate will form part of this development and these units will form part of a rental pool which will support the lodge.
