Construction of Mandlakazi Bulk Water Supply Phase 5.6A in Zululand, KwaZulu-Natal. The contract value is R185 482 653.12. The scope of work comprises of 19km of bulk rising mains, RC reservoirs, elevated tanks, and large pump station with associated ME&I. The works include the construction of approximately 4.4km of DN 700 X42 welded steel bulk mains (free issue), 13km of DN 200 welded steel/oPVC pipeline, and 1.5km of DN 100 oPVC pipeline, plus 2 x reinforced concrete reservoirs (1 x 8MI and 1 x 750KI), 2 x elevated tanks (50KI and 115KI), 1 x large pump station and associated ME and I including all chambers, valves, fittings, fencing, roadworks, and telemetry.
