About this development
Construction of a 200 MW cogeneration open-cycle gas-turbine (OCGT) plant in Secunda, Mpumalanga, for Sasol. The OCGT plant would be the first of three power generation opportunities being studied. Feasibility studies into two other prospects would be finalised over the next three years. Sasol's power plant projects could potentially generate between 400 MW and 1 000 MW of electricity.
