Rietkuil Coal Project, Mpumalanga

The Reitkuil coal mining site, located 8km south of Delmas and nears Exxaro's Leeuwpan and Kuyasa Mining's Delmas collieries, in Mpumalanga, contains an insitu metallurgical and thermal coal resource estimated at 199.9 million tons, of which 156.9 tons is in the measured category and 42 million tons in the indicated category. The proposed project will process three million tons of coal a year, based on a planned 30 year life of mine.
