About this development
Construction works for the stormwater system upgrades in Ramotse 1A, 1C and AF, Ramotse, Gauteng. CIDB 7CE. The scope of works entails the following: 2674m of Trapezoidal concrete canal (M01 – M08), 54m of rectangular shape channel divided into three barrels (M04), 1495m of rectangular concrete canal (S1 – S12), 95m of 900mm diameter concrete pipe (S08), 406m of 900mm diameter concrete pipe (S09),131m of 1050mm diameter concrete pipe (S10), 95m of stormwater (precast and insitu) culverts (K01 – K04), 289m of prefabricated box culverts (L1 – L6), 104m of transition channels (T02 – T11) and stilling basin and sedimentation trap structure. The following part of stormwater system require culverts jacking and boring: K3: 15m of new 3 x 240mm x 3000mm prefabricated stormwater culverts, K04: 38m of new 3 x 2400mm x 3000mm prefabricated stormwater culverts, L6: 48m of new 1800mm x 1200mm prefabricated box culverts, L01: 54m of new 1800mm x 1500mm prefabricated box culverts and L02: 42m of new 1800mm x 1500mm prefabricated box culverts. The GPS coordinates for the start location are 25°21'31.3"S 28°16'59.3"E
