Routine road maintenance of the National Road R33 from the Mkhondo Municipal Border through Warburton to Chief Albert Luthuli Municipal Border, R38 from Govan Mbeki Municipal Border to the Steve Tshwete Municipal Border and the N17 from Govan Mbeki Municipal Border through Ermelo to the Chief Albert Luthuli Municipal Border, in the district of Gert Sibande in Msukaligwa Local Municipality, Mpumalanga province. The scope of works could include: inspection of the road, structures, waterways, cutting/fill slopes, pavement layers repairs, crack sealing and patching of asphalt pavements, repair edge breaks and edge drops, gravel shoulder repairs, repair of slope failures and washaways, stabilisation of slopes, construction of drainage works to combat erosion, cleaning of all drainage structures, including removal of grass and debris from grids, as well as clearing bridge drainage ports and scuppers, repairing damaged road signs, installation and replacement of road studs, repairing damaged guardrails and balustrades, road marking. CIDB 7CE. The GPS marker has been placed on the N17 along the proposed construction route, 26°26'59.5"S 29°26'57.2"E.
